ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader for the purposes of their trade or to a club with a Club Premises Certificate for the purposes of the club.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
8 The times permitted do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel.
9 Alcohol shall only be supplied for consumption on and off the premises in accordance with the Rules of the North Molton Sports Club from time to time in force and in particular:
No alcohol shall be supplied other than to:
(a) Ordinary Members or honorary members of the North Molton Sports Club who has been a member for at least two days or whose nomination or application for membership was made at least two days before their admission.
(b) Bona fide guests of such members.
(c) Visitors as provided for by rule 12 of the Rules.
(d) Persons (including members of the Public) attending functions organised by the Club whether on the Club premises or otherwise on up to 24 occasions in total in any one year as provided for by Rule 17 of the Rules.
10 There shall be rules of the Club for the election of members and a copy of such rules shall be deposited with the Licensing Authority within fourteen days of the passing thereof.
11 A list of the names and addresses of all members of the Club shall be kept on the premises and produced on demand to a Licensing Officer.
12 No alterations shall be made to the rule providing for the admission of persons other than members of the Club without the consent of the Licensing Authority.
13 All-inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
14 No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses will be admitted to the premises at any time.
15 No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks from the premises.
16 All bottles and glasses will be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished or empty.
17 All exit doors will be easily openable and will be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
18 Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, available and clearly identifiable.
19 Fire appliances shall be inspected and if necessary, replaced, on an annual basis.
20 A satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report shall be provided.
21 A satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic emergency lighting report shall be provided.
22 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public will be fully operational.
23 Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
24 Proof of age will be required from any person seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 18 years.
25 All children entering the premises will be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
26 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area (s) as outlined in ORANGE on the attached plan (s).
