Additional Conditions

• ANNEXE 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1        There shall be no sale or supply of alcohol when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of this premises licence or at a time when the said Premises Supervisor does not hold a personal licence or when his/her licence is suspended.

   

  2        Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  3        Any person used to carry out a security activity as required under the Annexe 2 conditions must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

  4        Admission of children (under the age of 18) to any exhibition of films must be restricted in accordance with the film classification body designated as the authority under Section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984.

   

  5        Where the film classification is not specified or the relevant licensing authority has notified the premises licence holder under Section 20 (3)(b) of the Licensing Act 2003, the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the Licensing Authority.

   

• ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1.  The premises may remain open for no more than 60 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.

   

  2.  CCTV shall be installed and work to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and the Local Authority.

   

  3.  If the equipment becomes inoperative, the Police and the Local Authority shall be advised and a repair instigated to remedy the fault as quickly as possible.

   

  4.  Recordings shall be kept for a period of one month.

   

  5.  A notice shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises, advising that CCTV is in operation.

   

  6.  Proof of age shall be sought from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 18 years.

   

  7.  Any amplified music shall be at a comfortable and suitable volume level.

   

  8.  Sound levels in the auditoria shall not cause any public nuisance.

   

  9.  There shall be a suitable fire detection and alarm system installed, to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority.

   

  10. A risk assessment and evacuation procedure shall be put in place and all staff shall be trained in the evacuation procedure.

   

  11. Gangways, exits and all means of escape shall be kept clear at all times.

   

  12. Standing in the auditoria shall not be permitted.

   

  13. An adequate emergency lighting system shall be installed and operational.

   

  14. There shall be a sufficient number of fire-fighting appliances.

   

  15. All fire safety measures shall be maintained in good working order.

   

  16. After a late show, staff shall be on hand to remind customers to leave quietly.

   

  17. If deemed necessary by the manager, this request may be reinforced by a suitable announcement in the auditoria.

   

  18. The principle use of the premises shall remain as a cinema.

   

  19. Alcohol may only be consumed in the bar area or in the screen 3 auditorium.

   

  20. The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).

   

  21. Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).

   

  22. Late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in PINK on the attached plan (s).
