ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
2. All inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions shall not be permitted.
3. An incident book shall be kept and a record detailing all incidents of public disorder shall be entered in it.
4. Photographic proof of age shall be required from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 21 years of age.
5. Exit doors shall be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily.
6. Upholstered seating shall be fire retardant and compliant with current fire safety regulations.
7. All fire exits and means of escape shall be signed in accordance with BS5499.
8. Adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials shall be made available on the premises.
9. In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public shall be fully operational.
10. Fire safety signs shall be in situ.
11. Free drinking water shall be made available at all times when the premises are open to the public.
12. Offensive odours shall not be emitted beyond the boundary of the premises.
13. Customers shall be reminded to leave the premises quietly so as not to cause a nuisance to nearby residents and signage reminding customers of this shall be in place at all exit doors.
14. No one shall be admitted to the premises after 2230 hrs except persons staying on the premises.
15. All bar staff shall receive adequate training on the requirements of the Licensing Act from the Designated Premises Supervisor.
16. Capacity limits shall be set, to prevent overcrowding, on advice from the Police, Fire & Local Authority.
17. A Police approved proof of age policy shall be in place.
18. An anti-drug policy agreed by the Police & Local Authority shall be in force.
19. Crime prevention notices shall be displayed, warning customers of the prevalence of crime, which may target them, e.g. bags should not be left unattended, watch out for pickpockets.
20. A detailed customer code of conduct shall be displayed, warning customers that if they act in an irresponsible manner, they could be barred from all licensed premises in the vicinity.
21. Doors and windows shall be kept closed whenever necessary.
22. A crime prevention policy agreed by the Police and Local Authority shall be in place.
23. The sale by retail of alcohol and regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outline in RED on the attached plan (s).
24. Late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outline in GREEN on the attached plan (s).
