ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader for the purposes of their trade or to a club with a Club Premises Certificate for the purposes of the club.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
8 The times permitted do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel.
9 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the sale by retail of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
10 All bar staff when recruited shall be trained on the Licensing Act 2003 and Drug Awareness.
11 Photographic proof of age shall be required from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol that appears to under 21 years of age.
12 There shall be a regular collection of glasses and emptying of ashtrays.
13 Trade deliveries to the premises shall be made only after 7:00 a.m.
14 External lighting shall be supplied and maintained at all public exit areas.
15 Emergency lighting shall be installed in all areas of the building where members of the public are admitted.
16 Fire appliances shall be inspected and if necessary, replaced, on annual basis.
17 There shall be annual electrical safety check by a qualified electrician.
18 All electrical circuits shall be protected by trip switches approved under IEEC regulations.
19 The cigarette machine shall be sited so as to be in full public view from the bar.
20 The gaming machines shall be sited so as to be in full public view from the bar.
21 Kitchen extract filters shall be cleaned at least once a week to minimise the impact of cooking smells on neighbours.
22 In the event of a stripper gram being invited on the premises, all under 18 year’s old shall be encouraged to move to the other bar area.
23 The rear fire exit door to the function room shall be upgraded to provide an acoustic, door of dense material and tightly fitting, to attenuate noise escape.
24 Secondary glazing shall be provided to the arched windows on the main road elevation to the function room.
25 The existing fire door within the arched windows shall be replaced to provide a double-glazed unit.
26 Suitable air-conditioning shall be provided in the function room so doors are not opened for the provision of ventilation during the summer months.
27 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
28 Regulated Entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
29 Late Night Refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).
