ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 SIA door staff will be employed and visibly present on Friday and Saturday from 20:00 to closure of premises at a ratio of 1:75 patrons and thereafter during the months of June, July and August.
2 SIA door staff will be employed from 22:00 hours on New Year’s Eve to closure of premises at a ratio of 1:75 patrons and thereafter, where the provision of Regulated Entertainment takes place.
3 CCTV shall be installed to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority. Recordings shall be maintained for a period of 28 days and shall be provided to the Police on request.
4 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be notified as soon as possible and immediate steps shall be taken to put the equipment back into action. Members of the management team shall be trained in the use of the system. A Notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises, advising that CCTV is in operation.
5 No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses will be admitted to the premises at any time. All bottles and glasses will be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished with or empty.
6 A proof of age if you appear under the age of 21 Notice will be displayed on the premises.
7 All staff will be trained under the Licensing Act.
8 All exit doors will be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and will be available for egress while the public is on the premises.
9 Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
10 Any removable security fastenings will be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or staff.
11 A current fire safety risk assessment will be completed.
12 Step and stair edges will be highlighted, so as to be conspicuous.
13 All gangways, exit ways and treads of steps or stairways will be maintained with non-slippery and even surfaces.
14 Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations will not obstruct exits, fire safety signs or fire-fighting equipment.
15 Notices, detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergency, will be prominently displayed and maintained in good condition.
16 Emergency lighting tests will be conducted monthly. Records of these tests will be made available to the Licensing Authority, upon request.
17 All fire exits and means of escape will be signed in accordance with BS5499.
18 An evacuation policy will be in place that is to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority.
19 All staff members will be trained in the evacuation policy.
20 The Fire Brigade will be called to any outbreaks of fire, however slight. Exit doors will open outwards (or will be secured in the open position).
21 When disabled people are present, adequate arrangements will exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
22 Adequate and appropriate supply of First Aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
23 At least one member of staff will be suitably trained First Aider.
24 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public will be fully operational.
25 Fire safety signs will be adequately illuminated.
26 Emergency lighting will not be altered.
27 For the final hour of opening, the music shall be discernibly quieter.
28 Prominent, clear and legible Notices will be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
29 Customers congregating outside will be encouraged to move away from the premises after closing time.
30 Customer noise will be monitored by a member of staff and kept to a minimum after 11.00 pm in all outside areas.
31 The playing of recorded music outside on the terrace of the premises will not be permitted after 9.00 pm.
32 Any quiet or concealed areas will be regularly checked for any under-age drinking taking place.
33 Children unaccompanied by an adult will not be permitted after 9.00 pm.
34 Contact will be made with any parents whose children do not appear to under supervision after 9.00 pm and if necessary might be politely asked to take the children off the premises.
35 Any restrictions on the admission of children to the premises will be displayed outside the premises.
36 Any age restrictions relating to the showing of age-restricted films will be enforced.
37 The supply of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
38 Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
39 Late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).
