ANNEXE 2 CONDITIONS - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. No customers shall be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks from the premises.
2. All bottles and glasses shall be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished or empty.
3. Capacity limits for the premises shall be specified by the licence-holder, in consultation with the Police, Fire Authority and Local Authority.
4. A book shall be kept to record all instances of public disorder.
5. Alcoholic and soft drinks shall be served in plastic or toughened glasses.
6. If glass bottles are used the contents shall be decanted into plastic or toughened glasses.
7. All exit doors shall be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and shall be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
8. Means of escape shall be maintained unobstructed, available and clearly identifiable.
9. Exit doors shall be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily, and records of these checks shall be kept and produced on request.
10. Step and stair edges shall be highlighted so as to be conspicuous.
11. Notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of a fire or other emergency shall be prominently displayed and maintained in good condition.
12. An evacuation policy shall be in place, to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority, and all staff members shall be trained in the policy.
13. Adequate and appropriate supplies of first aid equipment shsall be available on the premises.
14. At least one trained first aider shall be on duty on the premises when the public are present.
15. Emergency lighting shall be available in all public areas.
16. Free drinking water shall be made available at all times when the premises are open to the public.
17. A “chill-out” area, to the satisfaction of the Police and the Licensing Authority, shall be provided, such area being cooler and quieter than the dancing areas.
18. Noise or vibration shall not be audible outside the premises so as to disturb neighbouring properties.
19. Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
20. Noxious smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
21. Patrons shall be prevented from eating and drinking outside the premises after 23.00 hours.
22. Proof of age shall be requested from all patrons who appear to be under the age of 21.
23. The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
24. Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in PINK on the attached plan (s).
