ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
2 Drinks shall be served in glass, plastic or toughened plastic.
3 A member of staff shall be on duty during the events.
4 Consideration shall be given to setting capacity limits to prevent overcrowding which could lead to crime and disorder.
5 The guest list will be by invitation only to control numbers at the wedding events.
6 Proof of age shall be sought from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 18 years.
7 A person holding the National Licensee’s Certificate shall be on the premises at all times when alcohol is being served or regulated entertainment provided.
8 A secure area for customers personal belongings shall be made available.
9 There shall be an incident book to record details of all instances of public disorder.
10 There shall be a member of the Estate on duty during the events.
11 All exit doors shall be easily openable while the public are on the premises.
12 Means of escape shall be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
13 Exit doors shall be regularly checked to ensure they function satisfactorily. Records of these checks shall be kept and produced upon request.
14 All fire doors shall be maintained effectively self-closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
15 Hangings, curtains and temporary decorations shall be maintained in a flame retardant condition.
16 Upholstered seating shall be fire retardant and compliant with current fire safety regulations.
17 Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations shall not obstruct exits, fire safety signs or fire fighting equipment.
18 Access shall be provided for emergency vehicles and this access shall be kept clear and free from obstruction.
19 All fire exits and means of escape shall be signed in accordance with BS5499.
20 The fire brigade shall be called to any outbreak of fire, however slight.
21 Wall and ceiling finishes shall be fire resistant.
22 When disabled people are present, adequate arrangements shall exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
23 Disabled people on the premises shall be made aware of these arrangements.
24 There shall be disabled access provisions.
25 Adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials shall be available on the premises.
26 At least one suitable trained first aider shall be on duty when the public are present.
27 Fire safety signs shall be adequately illuminated.
28 Emergency lighting shall not be altered.
29 Emergency lighting batteries shall be fully charged before the admission of the public.
30 Electrical testings shall be carried out and the certificates proving this shall be available for inspection.
31 A CORGI certificate of inspection shall be provided in respect of any gas boiler, calorifier or appliance. The inspection shall be carried out annually and a new report provided each year.
32 An OFTEC certificate of inspection shall be provided in respect of any oil fired boiler or appliance. The inspection shall be carried out annually and a new report provided each year.
33 Confirmation of public liability insurance shall be provided, in the minimum sum of £10 million. A new certificate can be provided each year.
34 A certificate of inspection shall be provided for portable fire fighting equipment.
35 A certificate of inspection shall be provided for any fire detection alarm at the premises.
36 Where a temporary electrical installation is being used, a temporary electrical installation report by a NICEIC or ECA electrician or a certificate of compliance with BS7909 shall be provided.
37 Free drinking water shall be made available at all times the premises is open to the public.
38 There shall be access to under 18’s to enable families to be able to attend weddings and other social events held on the premises. It shall be up to the parents/guardians to provide suitable supervision of the children.
39 The playing of live or recorded music in the garden area of the premises shall not be permitted after 1200 hrs.
40 Noxious smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
41 The premises shall be adequately ventilated to prevent nuisance from noxious smells.
42 Flashing or bright lights on or outside the licensed premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
43 The sale by retail of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
