ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
2 Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
4 When staff are recruited, they shall be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 and ‘drug-awareness’.
5 The premises may remain open for up to 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail of alcohol is permitted, as a ‘wind-down’ period.
6 Fire appliances shall be inspected and replaced, if necessary, on an annual basis.
7 There shall be an annual electrical safety check by a qualified electrician.
8 Photographic proof of age will be required from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 18 years of age.
9 There shall be a regular collection of glasses and emptying of ashtrays.
10 There shall be a notice placed prominently at exits asking customers to leave quietly.
The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area (s) as filled PINK on the attached plan (s).
