ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
4 All bar staff, when recruited, shall be trained on the Licensing Act 2003.
5 There shall be a regular collection of glasses and emptying of ashtrays.
6 The capacity limit of the premises shall be 200 persons.
7 All-inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions shall not be permitted.
8 A policy shall be in force for the management of large groups, such as stag/hen nights, who will be required to nominate a responsible person to liaise with staff.
9 There shall be a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report. The inspection shall be carried out every 5 years and that report provided.
10 There shall be a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic emergency lighting report. The inspection shall be carried out every year and that report provided.
11 There shall be an annual inspection of any gas boiler calorifier or appliance by a CORGI registered engineer and the report provided.
12 There shall be provided annually, a certificate of public liability insurance in the minimum sum of £2 million.
13 Fire appliances shall be inspected and if necessary, replaced on an annual basis.
14 There shall be an annual inspection of the fire detection alarm and a new certificate provided each year.
15 Doors and windows shall be closed whenever necessary.
16 The use of explosives, pyrotechnics and fireworks of a similar nature which could cause disturbance in surrounding areas shall be restricted to special occasions only.
17 For the final hour of opening, the music shall be discernibly quieter.
18 The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas of the premises shall not be permitted after 2300 hrs Monday to Thursday and 2400 hrs on Friday’s and Saturday’s.
19 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
