ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied:
(i) Unless the premises have been structurally adapted and bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purposes of habitually providing the customary main meal at midday or in the evening, or both, for the accommodation of persons frequenting the premises;
(ii) On the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as an ancillary to their meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
3 Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
5 Alcohol may be sold or supplied (for one hour following the end of permitted hours and) (on Christmas Day, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.) to persons taking table meals in the premises in a part of the premises usually set apart for the service of such persons and for consumption by such a person in that part of the premises as an ancillary to their meal. For other purposes or in other parts of the premises the permitted hours shall continue to apply.
6 There shall be afforded in the premises, for persons provided with a board and lodging for reward, adequate sitting accommodation in a room not use or to be used for sleeping accommodation, for the service of substantial refreshment for the supply of consumption of intoxicating liquor.
7 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
