ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The premises shall operate a fully recording CCTV system to the reasonable satisfaction of the Police and the Licensing Authority.
2 Copies of the recording shall be kept for 28 days and shall be produced on demand to an officer of any responsible authority.
3 A Challenge 21 policy shall be in place, whereby all persons seeking to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be challenged to produce a valid proof of age, to include a passport, a UK photo driving licence or a PASS approved ID card.
4 If no valid ID can be produced, the sale will be refused and shall be recorded in a refusals book.
5 Staff shall be given training to prevent the sale of alcohol to children, such training to be repeated every 6 months.
6 A written record of such training shall be kept at the premises and shall be produced to the officer of any responsible authority at their request.
7 The refusals register shall be checked every month by the premises licence holder and shall be signed to that effect.
8 Notices shall be displayed prominently at the store to explain to staff and customers the Challenge 21 policy and the ‘no ID no sale’.
9 The store shall maintain a scanning till to bring to the operator’s attention that age-sensitive products are being offered for purchase.
10 The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
