ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of the employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
4 The nature of the premises shall remain that of a cafe bar.
5 No temporary bar structure shall be placed in the outside seating area.
6 The supply of food and beverage to the outside seating area will be by waiter/waitress service only.
7 Alcohol in the outside seating area will only be provided when it is ancillary to a table meal.
8 The outside seating area will only be used when there is a valid table licence in force with South Molton Town Council.
9 Staff shall be trained in all aspects of the Licensing Act 2003.
10 CCTV shall be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police.
11 An external CCTV camera shall be placed outside Jazz, providing full cover of the outside seating area.
12 The chairs in the outside seating area shall be removed from the Square at the end of business every night.
13 The tables in the outside seating area shall be securely chained.
14 Alcohol may only be sold off the premises when it is in sealed containers.
15 The outside seating area shall be cordoned off from the rest of the highway.
16 There shall be no cheap or all-inclusive drinks promotions.
17 No new customers will be allowed on the outside seating area after 21:30 hours and all customers will be removed from the outside seating area no later than 23:00 hours.
18 All drinks shall be dispensed in toughened vessels.
19 All tables shall be cleared promptly.
20 The volume of any amplified music shall be controlled and kept to an appropriate level so as not to cause a disturbance outside the premises.
21 The Challenge 21 proof of age scheme shall be operated.
22 The sale by retail of alcohol and late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
23 Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
