ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
5 Children are not permitted in the bar area unless they are in the dining area (area shown on the plan attached to the licence), meals and non-alcoholic beverages are available for sale for consumption in that area and, they are in the company of a person aged 18 or over and are there prior to 9 p.m. In such circumstances, they may remain in the specified area for thirty minutes after the certificate has ceased to have effect for the consumption of refreshments.
6 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
7 The nature of the premises shall remain that of a cafe-bar.
8 CCTV shall be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police.
9 There shall be no cheap or all-inclusive drinks promotions.
10 Tables shall be cleared promptly.
11 All drinks shall be dispensed in toughened vessels.
12 No customers shall be admitted after 2400 hrs, save for private guests of the Premises Licence holder.
13 Staff shall be trained in all aspects of The Licensing Act 2003.
14 The Challenge 21 proof of age scheme shall be operated.
15 The volume of any amplified music shall be controlled and kept to an appropriate level so as not to cause a disturbance outside of the premises.
16 The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
17 Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
