ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader for the purposes of their trade or to a club with a Club Premises Certificate for the purposes of the club.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there.
5 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
6 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
7 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
8 The times permitted do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel.
9 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
10 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
11 Doors not be locked until all areas are cleared of customers.
12 Customers leaving after 2400 hrs to be escorted to the door, to ensure limitation of noise.
13 No admission to the premises to new customers after 2300 hrs.
14 Alcoholic and soft drinks shall be served in plastic or toughened glasses.
15 No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses shall be admitted to the premises.
16 No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcoholic or soft drinks from the premises.
17 All bottles and glasses shall be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished with or empty.
18 All-inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions shall not be permitted.
19 All exit doors will be easily to open without the use of key, card, code or similar means and will be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
20 All doors and windows shall be kept closed whenever necessary.
21 Patrons shall be prevented from eating and drinking immediately outside the premises after 2200 hrs, for which there will be appropriate signage.
22 Children only permitted access to the premises when in the company of parents or other supervisory adults ( e.g. under 18’s who are members of the village darts team will be granted access to the premises ONLY if accompanied by a parent or suitable adult such as a member of that team).
23 The sale by retail of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
