ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The sale of alcohol of all descriptions is authorised by this Licence.
2 Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale of alcohol to a trader for the purposes of their trade or to a club with a Club Premises Certificate for the purposes of the club.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
5 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
6 The above restrictions do not prohibit or restrict, during the first twenty minutes after permitted hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel.
7 The above restrictions do not prohibit or restrict, the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered.
8 The CCTV system installed at the premises shall be operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police.
9 A notice shall be displayed on the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
10 All exit doors shall be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and shall be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
11 Means of escape shall be maintained unobstructed, available and clearly identifiable. All fire doors shall be maintained effectively self- closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices. All fire exits and means of escape shall be signed in accordance with BS5499.
12 There shall be an annual inspection of all portable fire fighting equipment, emergency lighting, electrical installations and gas appliances. A copy of which shall be kept at the premises and shall be made available for inspection by an authorised officer.
13 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public shall be fully operational.
14 Noxious smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
15 Smoking shall not be permitted on the premises.
16 Proof of age shall be required from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 18 years.
17 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
18 Late nigh refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).
