ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The premises may remain open for no more than 60 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
2 CCTV shall be installed and working to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority.
3 Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month but to be agreed with Police and Local Authority).
4 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
5 A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
6 No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses will be admitted to the premises at any time.
7 No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcoholic or soft drinks from the premises.
8 All bottles and glasses will be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished or empty.
9 A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority will be in place.
10 All-inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
11 An anti-drug policy agreed by the Police and Local Authority will be in force.
12 An incident book will be kept and all instances of public disorder shall be recorded.
13 All staff will be trained and aware of measures in place to prevent crime and disorder and actively implement procedures.
14 All exit doors will be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and will be available for egress while the public are on the premises.
15 Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
16 Any removable security fastenings will be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or staff.
17 A current fire safety risk assessment will be completed.
18 When disabled people are present, adequate arrangements will exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
19 Adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available on the premises.
20 At least one member of staff will be a suitably trained first aider.
21 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public will be fully operational.
22 Fire safety signs will be adequately illuminated.
23 All staff will be trained and aware of measures in place for the public’s safety and actively implement these procedures.
24 Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
25 Background music levels will be monitored at all times throughout the day and kept at a reasonable level.
26 The entertainment shall not be broadcast outside of the indoor licensed area. The terraced area at the front of the premises shall be closed off from 23:00 hours onwards.
27 All doors and windows shall be kept closed whilst the public entertainment is in progress.
28 Proof of age notices will be displayed on the premises.
29 Any quiet or concealed areas will be regularly checked for any under age drinking taking place.
30 Children unaccompanied by an adult will not be permitted after 2100 hrs.
31 All staff will be trained and aware of measures in place for the prevention of children from harm and actively implement these procedures.
32 The sale by retail of alcohol and regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
33 Late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).
