• ANNEXE 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1        There shall be no sale or supply of alcohol when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of this premises licence or at a time when the said DPS does not hold a personal licence or when his/her licence is suspended. 

   

  2        Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
   

  3        The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
   

  The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
   

   

• ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1        A refusals book shall be kept and a record kept of all nuisance, thefts and bannings.
   

  2        CCTV shall operate internally, covering all of the store.
   

  3        Recordings shall be kept for a minimum of a month.
   

  4        There will be a minimum of 2 members of staff present in the shop area from 19:00 hours to closure of the premises.
   

  5        A male member of staff shall be employed late evenings.
   

  6        There will be a minimum of 3 staff present at any one time during events such as Barnstaple Carnival, Barnstaple Fair and New Year's Eve.
   

  7        A proof of age policy shall be implemented.
   

  8        People will be deterred from congregating in the doorway.
   

  9        Waste bins shall be provided in and around the entrance.
   

  10    It shall be ensured that alcohol will not be consumed by anyone in or around the shop areas.
   

  11    The premises shall sign up to the Store Nightnet Radio Scheme.
   

  12    The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
   

• ANNEXE 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING

   

  1        A CCTV camera shall be installed on the outside of the premises, covering Trinity Street, by the 31 December 2011.
   

  2        Recordings shall be maintained for a minimum of one month.
