ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The premises may remain open for no more than 30 minutes after the end of the period during which the retail sale of alcohol is permitted, as a “wind-down” period.
2 CCTV shall be installed in the premises.
3 CCTV recordings shall be maintained for a period of one month.
4 If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police and Local Authority shall be informed as soon as practicable and immediate steps taken to put the equipment back into action.
5 A notice shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
6 All glasses and bottles outside shall be removed as soon as they are finished with.
7 A Challenge 21 proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority shall be in place.
8 No irresponsible drinks promotions shall be permitted.
9 An anti-drug policy agreed by the Police and Local Authority shall be in force.
10 Children below the age of 18 years will not be permitted without adult supervision and notices to this effect shall be displayed.
11 The premises will be a member of Pubwatch and all relevant associations. As far as possible, a representative will attend all relevant meetings.
12 A policy will be in force for the management of groups, i.e. hen and stag parties. The group will be required to nominate a responsible person to liase with the staff.
13 Coat hanging areas will be in open view and away from the entrance.
14 A record will be kept of any public order incidents.
15 The bar will be positioned away from the entrance, whilst still affording all round supervision of the premises.
16 All exit doors shall be easily openable without the use of a key, card or code and will be clearly marked.
17 Escape routes shall be kept unobstructed and clearly marked.
18 All fire doors shall be maintained effectively self-closing.
19 All mats shall be non-slip.
20 Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations shall be flame retardant.
21 Upholstered seating shall be flame retardant in line with current fire regulations.
22 Fire fighting, warning systems and emergency lighting will be tested in line with installer and fire authority requirements. Tests will be recorded as necessary.
23 All fire exits shall be signed to comply with current regulations.
24 The fire brigade shall be called to any fire.
25 Wall and ceiling finishes shall be fire retardant.
26 Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials shall be available on the premises.
27 At least one suitably trained first aider shall be on duty when the public are present.
28 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting shall be fully operational.
29 Fire safety signs shall be adequately marked and illuminated.
30 Emergency lighting shall not be altered.
31 Emergency lighting batteries shall be fully charged before the public are admitted.
32 Evacuation of the building will be possible within 5 minutes.
33 Records of fire alarm, fighting and emergency lighting tests will be made available to the Licensing Authority upon request.
34 A satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report shall be provided. The inspection shall be carried out every 3 years.
35 A satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic emergency lighting report shall be provided. The inspection shall be carried out every 3 years.
36 A CORGI certificate of inspection in respect of any gas appliance shall be provided. The inspection shall be carried out every 3 years.
37 Confirmation of public liability insurance in the minimum sum of £2 million shall be provided. A new certificate shall be provided each year.
38 A certificate of inspection for portable fire fighting equipment shall be provided. The inspection shall be carried out annually.
39 A certificate of inspection for any fire detection alarm at the premises shall be provided. The inspection shall be carried out annually.
40 Doors and windows shall be kept closed whenever necessary.
41 Prominent, clear and legible notices shall played at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
42 The premises shall be adequately ventilated to prevent nuisance from noxious smells.
43 Extraction systems shall be designed to reduce noise to a minimum a level as possible.
44 16 and 17 year olds will not be permitted to consume beer, wine or cider under any circumstances.
45 A crime prevention policy agreed by the Police and Local Authority shall be in place.
46 No nudity, lewd behaviour or anti-social behaviour will be accepted.
47 There shall be no outside music.
48 The sale by retail of alcohol and late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).
49 Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
