ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. All events that take place where numbers exceed 150 patrons and finishes after 2000hrs, then SIA registered door stewards shall be employed. One SIA registered door steward at 151 patrons and additional SIA registered door stewards for every extra 75 patrons therein.
2. Applications in writing can be made to the Constabulary at least 10 days in advance of any proposed event removing the requirements of the SIA registered door stewards of the event being held, if in the Constabulary’s view, the event does not require SIA registered door stewarding.
3. This permission shall be given to the Designated Premises Supervisor in writing and a copy must be sent to the Licensing Authority.
4. Door supervisors shall ensure the capacity does not exceed the figures required by Police, Fire and Local Authority.
5. As well as SIA registered door supervisors, there shall be an equivalent number of stewards on duty.
6. Any restrictions on the admittance of under 18’s shall be displayed on the premises.
7. An incident book will record instances of public disorder and shall be available for inspection by a relevant authority.
8. A secure area for customers belongings shall be available.
9. Crime prevention notices and customer codes of conduct shall be displayed.
10. CCTV shall be installed to Police & Local Authority recommendations.
11. An anti-drug policy agreed by the Police & Local Authority shall be rigorously enforced.
12. The provision of the sale of alcohol shall be made by way of Temporary Event Notices, with the following conditions applied:-
No customers shall be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks from the premises;
No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses shall be admitted to the premises at any time;
All inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions shall not be permitted;
All drinks shall be dispensed in toughened/plastic glasses.
13. A proof of age policy shall be in place when alcohol is on sale.
14. All fire exits shall be easily openable from within, without use of key, card etc and open outwards.
15. An evacuation procedure shall be in place.
16. There shall be open gangways and unobstructed means of exit with conspicuous step edges.
17. Curtains and temporary decorations shall be flame retardant and not obstruct exits.
18. Stewards shall be available to assist disabled evacuation.
19. There shall be first aid equipment available and a first aider shall be on duty when the public are present.
20. Public liability insurance shall be in place.
21. All requirements for Health & Safety regulations shall be adhered to.
22. There shall be no noise breakout from the premises, likely to cause noise disturbance at dwellings within the locality.
23. Noise levels shall be monitored externally and controlled.
24. Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).
