Additional Conditions

• ANNEXE 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1        There shall be no sale or supply of alcohol when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of this premises licence or at a time when the said DPS does not hold a personal licence or when his/her licence is suspended. 
   

  2        Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised
       by a person who holds a personal licence.
   

• ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1.  No customer carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses shall be admitted to the premises at any time.

   

  2.  No customers shall be permitted to take open containers of alcohol or soft drinks from the premises.

   

  3.  All bottles and glasses shall be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished or empty.

   

  4.  All-inclusive nights or other irresponsible drinks promotions shall not be permitted.

   

  5.  No person shall be admitted to the premises after 23.30 hours other than persons resident on the premises or the bona fide guests of the residents.

   

  6.  All exit doors shall be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and shall be available for egress while the public are on the premises.

   

  7.  All fire exits and means of escape shall be signed in accordance with BNS5499.

   

  8.  There shall be an annual inspection of all portable fire-fighting equipment, emergency lighting, electrical installation and gas appliances, a copy of which shall be kept at the premises and shall be made available for inspection by an authorised officer.

   

  9.  In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public shall be fully operational.

   

  10. Noise or vibrations shall not be audible at the facade of any noise sensitive premises.

   

  11. Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits and car parks requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.

   

  12. A proof of age policy shall be operated to prevent the sale to or consumption of alcohol by persons under age.

   

  13. Gaming machines which are installed shall be visible from the bar servery.

   

  14. The sale by retail of alcohol shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan (s).

   

  15. Regulated entertainment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan (s).

   

  16. Late night refreshment shall be confined to the area (s) as outlined in GREEN on the attached plan (s).

   

   

• ANNEXE 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING

   

  1.  The use of the garden area for the consumption of alcohol shall cease at 23.00 hours.

   

  2.  All fire exit doors shall be fitted panic bolts and alarmed.

   

  3.  There shall be no firework displays, except on Guy Fawkes Night and on New Year’s Eve.

   

  4.  External lighting shall be regulated by diffusers or other appropriate measures to the standards agreed by the Environmental Protection Unit.

   

  5.  A refusals book shall be kept and operated.

   

  6.  In all public rooms on the ground floor, all windows and doors shall be secondary or double glazed by 31st March 2007 and the doors shall remain closed at all times except for access and egress when regulated entertainment takes place.

   

  7.  Air conditioning shall be installed in all public rooms on the ground floor by 31st March 2007.

   

  8.  No live bands shall perform in the Waterfront Bar.

   

  9.  Noise limitation measures in relation to musical and other public entertainment shall be agreed with the Environmental Protection Unit by 31st December 2006 and in place by 31st March 2007.
