ANNEXE 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward, board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one customary main meal.
2 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, or the consumption of persons so supplied.
3 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the supply of alcohol for consumption on premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the businesses carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
4 The times permitted to sell alcohol do not prohibit or restrict the sale or supply of late night refreshment (which does not include alcohol) on the premises for a period of thirty minutes after the end of permitted hours.
5 The sale of alcohol shall take place only in the bar area.
6 There shall be no sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises.
7 Alcohol shall be sold, supplied or consumed during any period when the premises are not open to the public solely for the purpose of bowling, except for those occasions when the premises are being used for a private function to which the general public is excluded.
8 No one under the age of 18 years will be allowed in the bar area and a notice to that effect shall be exhibited at the entrace to the said bar area.
9 There shall be no consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of 18.
10 No customer will be permitted to enter the premises after 2300 hrs and save in exceptional circumstances, a customer who has left the premises prior to 2300 hrs will not be re-admitted after that time. Notices to that effect to be clearly displayed at the entrance.
11 All staff to be trained concerning the regulations surrounding the sale and supply of alcohol to young people.
12 In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public to be fully operational.
13 Fire safety signs to be adequately illuminated.
14 All staff members to be trained in the fire evacuation policy.
15 Exit doors to be regularly checked to ensure they function correctly. Records of these checks to be kept and produced on request.
16 Means of escape to be maintained unobstructed, immediately available and clearly identifiable.
17 Notices to be displayed at the exit doors reminding customers to leave the premises quietly, particularly if using the car park after 2200 hrs.
18 Proof of age will be required from anyone seeking to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 18 years of age.
19 The sale by retail/supply of alcohol will be confined to the area (s) as outlined in RED on the attached plan(s).
20 Regulated entertainment will be confined to the area(s) as outlined in BLUE on the attached plan(s).
